ovd., I apologize for not contacting you in advance. There has been a lot of spam flying around here lately, so I guess itās often easier to just take care of those situations as they turn up. I would appreciate it if you would refrain from adding any links to your signature and/or location.

I am quite the opposite, I am definitely a capitalist. And Iāll bet Mike could be persuaded to allow you to have a link to your web site in your sig if you quarantee him say 5% of your Google ads income each month. Having numerous links to your site on other websites raises your URLās ranking in search engines like Google, and the more visitors to your site the more hits on your Google ads and the more you make. So having to pay for the links you place to your site here seems like a profitable option for Mike to make some money to pay for his site. And since this site is extremely popular placing a link to your site here is a very worthwhile idea and 5% of your monthly gross maybe too low. But you seem like a nice guy so 5% can be the introductory offer.
I will however need 50% of your current monthly gross to cover my efforts to persuade Mike to accept your 5% offer.

I found this thread and thought I might find an answer to my question but I did not.
The problem Iām having with Weather Watcher is that the tray icon is justā¦ well. I donāt know what it is. It doesnāt look like anything I know. I have been waiting and hoping this would be fixed in every new version but it has not been fixed so far. So when 6.0.0.61 came out and this thing was still there. I figured that maybe a post on the forums might help. I post an image below for how it looks on my system. I marked the Weather Watcher Icon with red.

KarlV, please post a screenshot of the āTray Iconā section of your Weather Watcher (Live) Options window.
Since upgrading to 5.6.45, the condition icon seems to have rounded itself and itās almost impossible to see what the weather is unless you point at the icon! Anyone else think this?
Iām using large DPI if that makes a differenceā¦

The only recent change was the addition of the āBlend edges of ClearType textā¦ā checkbox in the āTray Iconā tab of the Weather Watcher Options window. Did you try unchecking that checkbox to see if it made a difference?

Iām not sure how to post a screenshot but I think the problem is that if Blend edges is NOT ticked, the condition icon becomes round rather than square - I would have expected this option to only apply to the temperature icon, as the condition icon isnāt ClearType text - or is it?!!?

Itās not text, so I would not expect that change to affect the condition icon.

The other problem I have is that the āMake transparentā tick box doesnāt let you reverse it - i.e. ticking it makes the condition icon transparent, but unticking it again doesnāt make it opaque again - the only way to change it back is to tick BOTH checkboxes at the bottom of the āTray Iconā tab :sad:
