You could add such a map to the Weather Watcher map list using the Weather Watcher Map Manager. Check out the following link for more information about the Weather Watcher Map Manager:
This is the reason that the international maps are quite limited in Weather Watcher. I haven’t been able to find a website that has a good collection of international maps.
The hardest part would be trying to find an area to place the map on the Weather Watcher window. As it is right now, there really isn’t much extra space.
Depending on what version of WW you are using MapsHistory.ww is in
C:\Documents and Settingsuserid\Application Data\WeatherWatcher
or
c:\Program Files\Weather Watcher\
That MapsHistory line is suppose to be all on a single line in the file. The forum window is wrapping it. Did you add it as a single line? If not it could explain the error you’re getting.
If you open Windows Control Panel do you see the Network and Internet Connections applet? If so use it to change your Internet connection to enable Scripting, it’s on the Advanced tab, then see if the map works in WW.
May be I wasn’t clear… flash maps don’t work in my WW, I get a script error shown above so I tried to open the same link with IE to find out if it works at all.
It looks like it does work fine and I hope that EdP will be able to tell us how to fix this script error stuff.
Thank you redhotpaprika, now I understand the problem.
Unfortunately I don’t understand why you are having the problem. :???: There is no scripting in that URL, it goes straight to a .swf file. And with the MapsHistory entry that I posted I do not get the error you’re seeing. I’m running Windows Xp Sp2 plus all updates and WW 5.6.25.
You do have the quote mark at the end of the URL yes?
Mike do you get the error also with the posted entry? :-s
