Why does the map that sows on the main UI only update during daylight hours. During evening and night the map is blank only sowing outline of current location. Screen shot is this morning where we have entered daylight hours.
That’s the default map provided by Weather Underground in their weather data feed. I’m not sure why it’s not always showing data for international locations (I see a different map in the US).
If you’d like to try a different map, click “Settings” at the bottom of the main Weather Watcher window and enter the URL to the map image of your choice in the “Map Image Link” textbox. After closing the settings window, the new map image will appear after the weather updates again.
FYI, you can find the URL for any map image that comes with Weather Watcher in the Map Manager. Right-click the Weather Watcher system tray icon and choose “Map Manager”.
