I just installed WW 5.4a on a WinXP SP1 system (AMD 2500+, 512 MB RAM), and I notice that whenever I pull up Task Manager, WW is consistently pegging my CPU at over 90% (Right now, TM is running in the taskbar showing 100% CPU usage, 98% of which is WW). This seems unnecessary (not to mention dangerous to hot-running CPUs like this one), since I’ve got WW set to update only every 20 minutes.
Just wondered if anyone knows what’s behind this behaviour. If it keeps up, I’ll have to uninstall, though I like WW a lot so far.
