WW Disappears

Hi!

Great program! I build systems and when I tell customers about WW they ask me to install it for them.

Strange thing though, the last few XP (3-SP1 & 2-SP)and 3-W2K boxes I have installed it on suffer from the following problem:

After install, run program, it just disappears. No setup screen, not in systray. Task mgr shows it as a running program, cannot switch to. Reboot, start program - same thing. A bit puzzled as I have probably installed this program 100 times. Have downloaded a fresh copy, uninstalled, reinstalled, same thing.

Any suggestions?

Are you installing the full setup? The update setup does not include the needed Windows system files… which will cause the system tray icon to disappear.

If that doesn’t help, then try installing the Microsoft Visual Basic Runtime files from Microsoft:
