Actually I am not sure if this happened before or after I installed 5.6.29 but it doesn’t update right now… the WW has been stuck at 12:45 AM for a few hours now, TWC web-site shows updated data for my location. I restarted WW several times, it didn’t help.
WW updated once or twice and now it’s stuck again… wierd :neutral:
Some others reporting the same problem have reported changing the location to someplace else and then back helps. I’m not sure whether an update needed to be done at the new location or not.

i was having issues with 5.6.28 updating the weather tip so upgraded to 5.6.29 though now the wallpaper map feature is going crazy.
when i ask it to stretch, it goes way beyond the res of my screen, with most of the pic miles off-screen.
but most annoyingly, i can’t get it to stick to the world wsi satellite map. it worked fine in the previous versions, but not now!
at the moment its choosing random weather maps from nw europe, i think.
aarrghh!

I’m having the same problem with 5.6.29 - failure to update. If I change the active city and back again, I get an update. WW will then work fine for several hours. It then stops updating again, until I do the active city swap again.
Me too. It gets stuck at 12:45 P.M. everyday. I have to change locations and come back to my present location to get update to start working again.

The new version didn’t help me, either. My system was off last night at 12:45 AM, but I got stuck at an observed time of 12:45 PM (EDT) today. As before, changing to a different active station, and back again, got updating working again.
unrealguy69 & Seth, the following Weather Watcher build should resolve the caching issue that occurs when the weather updates between 12 AM - 1 AM:

I have installed 5.6.30 now and shell to try it tomorrow :razz:

That seems to be the fix!
I left my system up overnight, and WW has not gotten hung up once - neither at 12:45 AM, nor 12:45 PM.
