Weather Watcher PROBLEM

I am yet another user of Weather Watcher v5.0.27 who is experiencing the problem that have been posted by other users on this date. When attempting to update the weather forecast, some pages may update others may not, and I have received the following message:
[b]An error has occurred!
Try the following:

  1. Check that you are connected to the Internet.
  2. If you’re connected to the Internet, try updating this
    forecast again.
  3. Check that you have the latest version of Weather
    Watcher. Either use the “Check for new program
    updates” feature in the Weather Watcher system
    tray drop-down menu -OR- check at SingersCreations.com.
  4. Check that this forecast exists at Weather.com.
  5. Visit the Singer’s Creations Forum for more suggestions.[/b]

After a number of attempts to retrieve a new forecast, I eventually get a complete one.

I plan to have a fix out on Sunday/Monday night. I’d release it earlier, but I’m away for the weekend. I need to have a life too [:D]

In the meantime, please give the beta a try. I’ve been testing it for over a month, so it works pretty well (very stable too!).

  • Installation Instructions *

  1. Download and unzip the “BETA502810.ZIP” file to the folder of your
    choice (create a new folder).

  2. Run “WW.EXE” from the above folder.

  3. Set up all of your Weather Watcher options in the Options window. The options are now stored in a .INI file. Each Windows user will have their own custom options.
