Weather Watcher Mobile 1.0.0 Released

Are you sure the icon is disappearing? It looks like the keyboard is covering the icon :???:

Yeah. Because I haven’t got a problem with other programs where the keytboard can be used. And it is just the standard soft keyboard. Well just to let you know. Currently I am using SBSH’s PW weaher plugin.

I’m guessing your other programs display the soft keyboard above the bottom menu bar?

Weather Watcher doesn’t position the soft keyboard. That is a function of the operating system. Perhaps there is a bug in the .NET framework. I don’t know what programming language SBSH is using, so it’s hard to say it that could be the cause.

krab, which version of Windows Mobile are you using?

I wrote that in the above, WM2003SE

I guess I missed it :???:

krab, try this one:

Same problem with the above listed version, see the first screen shot.
It has to go because there isn’t any other way to confirm adding a city, except for going back to the Today screen and returning via the taskmanager. Then the keyboard is gone.

The “OK” in the rightupper corner isn’t working and also leaves the keyboard up. See the second shot. Pressing enter doesn’t confirm either. The problem with the keyboard is in all the screen where you need it.In other app the option are shifted up above the keyboard, like you can see in the next two shots (PocketWeather) I wonder how others solves this?

It’s quite odd that Windows displays the keyboard in that possible. The keyboard displays above the bottom bar in Windows Mobile 5.

Other software vendors are probably resizing the window when the keyboard is opened. I’ll look into that.
