Can’t I translate Weather Watcher to my language? Will this option be able in a future Weather Watcher version or for download (just like ICQ lite, you can download it in your language and it works perfectly)
A lot of people have requested this feature. Translating ICQ was an easy task… because the text in their program is static (doesn’t change). The text in Weather Watcher is very dynamic… there are thousands of possible words. Translating Weather Watcher interface would be an easy task.
I think the best way to approach this would be to create a list of words that included all possible forecast words/phrases. At that point, people could translate the words to various languages and we could in a sense create a word dictionary. There might already be something like this out there for VB… I haven’t looked.
Does anyone have any ideas?
