Since about a week ago, the temperature icon in my system tray has been stuck at 54 degrees. It doesn’t even change if I change my active city. I have Weather Watcher installed on a second computer, and that one is working correctly.
It may be coincidence, but I first noticed this problem after installing IE 7.

What do you see happen when you manually update the weather by clicking the “UPDATE” button?
When I click the Update button, I get a small window saying “Downloading weather data,” then the normal display.
In an case, the cure seems to have been writing to this board, because it started working correctly again shortly after I wrote. Actually, I cleaned out my registry, and that was probably what made the difference.
