Temp bulb not same as "Now" temp when below zero F.

I’ve noticed that when the temp slips below zero (as it is now in Minnesota), the temp bulb will read a different temp than the “Now” temp. For example, the Now temp is -9.0 F and the temp bulb reads -8 F.

Version number is 6.0.1.

Sorry if this has been reported before - I didn’t see it in a quick scan.

DebDebMN, the bulb will round up/down to the nearest whole number. Right now, my “Now” temperature is “21.8” and my bulb is displaying “22”.

If you think you’re experiencing a different probolem, then please post a screenshot of the main Weather Watcher Live window.

Hi Mike and Happy New Year to you.

Please see the first two examples of the mismatching issue that I reported earlier. I’ve seen this issue several times now where the bulb reporting is a degree different than the “Now” temp, however only when the temps are below zero F (haven’t tried C yet). If there’s any other information that you need, please let me know. It’s a real pain to debug if one only has half the picture

Also attached is an example of a possible rounding issue?

DebDebMN, thank you for posting screenshots. I’ll take a look and get back to you.

The following Weather Watcher Live build should resolve this issue:

The new software works great! The only item left is the feature of optimistic rounding once the temp gets below zero. In this case, -0.9 rounded to zero instead of -1. Optimistic rounding could be a feature? I’ll leave that up to you.

Here’s an example:
