Sparklines...

I’m interested in following trends in the weather. The one I’m most interested in is the dew point, as it tells me how the weather will be for going out to ride on the rail-trails on my bike for a few hours. Here in the humid East, low dew point means more comfortable weather.

I’m also interested in looking at the effect of dew point and barometric pressure on the census of patients in the emergency department at hospitals.

Ever heard of sparklines?

This is a simple but elegant way to graph data, originated by Tufte.
