When I reboot my computer it opens the program files folder for weather watcher. Any ideas?
It sounds like you have the “Start Weather Watcher Live when Windows starts” box checked in the “General” tab of the Weather Watcher Live Optiosn window. If that’s the case, then try this:
1) Open the Weather Watcher Live Options window.
2) Uncheck the “Start Weather Watcher Live when Windows starts” box.
3) Click the “OK” button to close the Weather Watcher Live Options window.
4) Open the Weather Watcher Live Options window.
5) Check the “Start Weather Watcher Live when Windows starts” box.
6) Click the “OK” button to close the Weather Watcher Live Options window.
7) Reboot your computer to see if that resolved the issue.
If you’re familiar with the Windows registry, then you can check out the following key to see what Weather Watcher Live is saving when the above box is checked:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\WeatherWatcherLive
The value of that key should be the path to Weather Watcher Live. On most computers, it will look like this:
“C:\Program Files\Weather Watcher Live\ww.exe”
I did as you said and it still loads. I unchecked and left unchecked, load at startup and it appears to be fine now. Thank you.
