It seems to me that “Update Every 5 mins” is more frequent than “Update Automatically”. How frequent is “Update Automatically” ?
It depends on the weather data source, whether it exposes its internal update rate, and the specific weather station, since different weather stations can have different update intervals. This behavior may also change in future versions of Weather Watcher. In most cases, this setting is the most reliable.
However, if you prefer to update the weather data at a specific interval for any reason, then selecting that exact interval would be the better option. Just keep in mind that the data might be slightly delayed if the weather station updates in between your selected interval.
