I have been using Weather Watcher for the last couple of months, but last Monday it stopped updating. It still shows the forecast for last Monday, but will not update on a daily basis. It stopped about 2 p.m.
Last Monday was also the day our firewall admin and backbone switch admin shut down ICMP over our internal network (because of Blaster, et.al.) Does Weather Watcher use ICMP or the ICMP ports to connect to Weather.com and download updates? Thanks.
If not, can you suggest any other reasons it might stop updating? Thanks.
