Excellent work, Barba! The fonts on the lengthy conditions reduce just right, although I did set up estillo2 as font size 9. I learned several days ago that some conditions are so long that even font size 10 won’t do the job.

And great job, EdP, on the mouseover bug! What can I say, I demand perfection from everybody but myself.

I made the following changes to the skin.

I increased the font on the wooden tiles and changed the font color to white, as black on brown is not a good combination. White on brown is a LOT more readable!

I changed the headings on the top of the screen.

I fixed the option window so it won’t block the moon phases. I consider this important, so they when I check the moon option, I can see the changes in the moons right away, without exiting the option window.

I got rid of the extra space between the hourly wind direction and hourly wind speed.

I added some cyan and cream color to the forecast screens.

I replaced the “Sunny” graphic to look like this:

I renamed the folder “Daves Marmol 2” so you can look at the changes without it overwriting your version.

For some reason, when I download it off my server, it wants to download as “marmol2.zip”. How can I keep it from doing this?

David

You’re a hard task master, that ye are laddie. :crybaby:

:tongue3:

See the Note at the bottom of this posting: http://www.singerscreations.com/forum/v … php?t=1120

changes in the skin.

one will change to size 9 when having automatically more than 28 characters the weather conditions.

in days, hour and lunar phases, the predetermined color is white.

to install renames the .zip file to be .wws, the Weather Watcher Install Wizard will install it to the proper WW folder.
geocities it does not allow .wws files

geocities no permite archivos .wws

Tbanks Barba!

I made the following changes:

I increased the font for the wooden tiles to 11, and changed “Feels Like” to “Feels” so it will all fit.

Changed the headings at the top of the screen.

Got rid of the extra spaces in the hourly forecast winds.

Added cyan and cream to the forecast screens.

Replaced the sunny and thunder graphics.

Capitalized “Dew point” and “Feels like”.

Reduced the options window so it won’t block the moons.

:???: I think this would be better posted in your thread dlbryant.

Very good. I do like this. Is there a way to expand to fit full screen in WW window.

Not unless you know HTML coding.

Out of my league. I do enjoy the new look. Thans again.

An unfortunate side effect of using a picture for a background. Maybe dlbryant or barba will be up for a challenge.

That would be excellent. If its the picture of the background being the issue couldn’t there be 2 or 3 background pictures for different screen sizes/resolution.

Or a single set of larger pictures that support reduction, similar to Windows’ wallpapers concept. Plus a less rigid window layout that allows the window to be resized and the major elements to shift accordingly.

Where’s Barba and Dave when we need them?

I installed this skin. Really cool. But I have one question about it: How can I enlarge the font size of the temperatures in the daily forecast in the main window? I do not know any HTML or CSS, but I guess it will only be one simple font size entry in some config file. Thanks for any help.

In the skin’s Style.css file, which can be opened with Notepad, change the font size on line 27 from 10px to be:.Estilo9 {font-size: 11px;color: #000000;font-weight: bold;}
Anything larger will require tweating the html code.

PS You might be able to make the font value 12px if you change the Estilo8 line’s value to 11px.

It worked. Thank you!
