I must have been one of the last high-school students to learn to type on a manual typewriter while also learning to program on a computer. In typing (not keyboarding) class, the instructor would not allow you to look at the keys while typing. That method increased our typing speed once we finally learned all of the keys. This keyboard forces the modern computer user to do the same thing.
