Huge number of .tmp files

Hi,

WWL leaves a huge number of temporary files in Apdata\Roaming\WeatherWatcherLive\Temp.
Is there an option to prevent it, it may contribute to premature wear of SSD.

Restarting Weather Watcher will clean up those files. They should be cleaned automatically as Weather Watcher is running, but it looks like that is not happening sometimes. I’ll have to take a closer look to see what’s going on there.

There is no option to prevent these temp files from being created. It’s part of the process involved in downloading weather data.

I doubt writing temp files to disk is going to contribute to premature SSD wear. Weather Watcher doesn’t create nearly as many files as web browsers and many other applications you’re likely running on a daily basis.

Thanks …
Right, when I killed WWL all tmp files were wiped. My problem: I keep my PC online 24/24.
I had real time auto update rate. I changed to every hour, looks like it makes less tmp files.

Try upgrading to the Weather Watcher build below. It should auto clean those temp files while Weather Watcher is running.

Perfect !!!
