different weather sites

any way to choose where it gets the weather forecasts from?

sometimes weather.com isnt the most accurate site

No. Weather Watcher is built around Weather.com’s data.

Please do let me know if you know of a web site that supports as many cities as weather.com. I doubt you’ll find a site even comparable to theirs.

Hello Mr. Singer
I,m using weather watcher and i’m having the same problem as “joe82”.
Actually, WEATHER.COM is not only inaccurate but it is a bad international service.
I have been looking at better services and found “WUNDERGROUND.COM” which is international, accurate and supports many weather stations in the same city/country. In my case my city is Monterrey, Mexico and there are 3 weather stations here which wunderground.com knows about. Finally, it updates everything every hour unlike weather.com from which you get a “NA” for more than an hour till updates.
Thanks.

Cheers!

Some big international corporations use the following site for employee travel. Check it out.

Add my vote for weather underground. Weather.com doesn’t offer as many cities/towns as you might think. While they do have a list of every town name, the weather data isn’t necessarilly from that town. For example, the data offered for my location is actually from a town over 150 miles away!

The canadian Weather Network would be even better, of course.

Does Weather Underground provide an hourly forecast? I cannot seem to find it on their site.

For those of us in Australia, an accurate provider of information is:
http://www.weatherzone.com.au/ or http://www.bom.gov.au/

I love the applet, but having data grabbed from a source closer to me would be better.
