It’s been awhile since I did a weather station search so I was surprised to see only WeatherUnderground and CWOP as proviiders when searching by zip code. (Searching by address had an additional provider of WeatherBug).
Am I correct that Weatherbug is now known and CWOP?
No. CWOP is the Citizen Weather Observer Program.
Earth Networks (previously WeatherBug) is supposed to start sending data to CWOP at some point. I don’t think they started doing that yet though.
In some cities I still see an occasional WeatherBug station listed. I’ve never paid too much attention because I’ve preferred WeatherUnderground.
