Windows Vista always attempts to download new skins each time weather watcher starts. Is there a way to turn this off, or is this a bug?
Right-click the Weather Watcher shortcut and choose “Run as administrator”. That should allow you to work around the problem. You should only have to do this one time.
I’ll see what I can do on my end to corret this issue for the next Weather Watcher release.
Unfortunately, I do not see a “Run as Administrator” option when I right click on weather watcher icon. Am I missing something else?
Okay, I found it. I was looking at the taskbar icon, not the menu icon. Let’s hope that works.

I have tried this and it does not correct the problem. I even tried right click - properties and
“Run as administrator” still pop ups with the window at start up.
Running Vista Home Premium on a Desktop and Laptop and the problem is with both machines.
Running the lastest version but had the same problem with earlier versions.
Program works great just a little annoying at start up with the pop up window.
