Cannot be turned off (unchecked), because is automatically checked again.

What exactly are you attempting to turn off and/or uncheck?
I remove the cross-mark, but when I re-open the options then the field is checked again.
It forgets that I uncheked the cross-field and I still get alerted by balloon tool-Tips whenever a condition changes.
It works now after a computer restart.
Sorry in case this was a false alarm.
I remember I had a similar problem with the Miranda Messenger on another machine with Windows XP two years ago, seems to be a Windows issue.
