This applies to Windows 8 x64 Professional and WWL 7.1.94/95.
The error shown in the attachment occurs at the end of the installation of versions 7.1.94/95. I can close this error box, manually start WWL, and all is fine thereafter.
It looks like the Weather Watcher Live installer does not have permissions to start Weather Watcher Live on your computer.
Fixed. WWL.exe was set to “Run as Administrator”. Reset that and re-installed with no issues.
This option was most likely something I did myself awhile back when something weird was going on. :???:
