WW Live Main Window Set-up

Any help appreciated. I feel like a bit of a moron as I can’t seem to figure out how to make the main window look like it does on the WW site. Hopefully the image will depict my problem.

Thanks

Roy

It looks like some of your screenshot has been cut off. Can you post a screenshot that shows the entire Weather Watcher Live window sitting on your desktop?

I have some questions for you:

1) Which version of Weather Watcher Live are you using?

2) Weather Watcher Live uses Internet Explorer to generate the interface of the main window. Do you have any trouble viewing websites in Internet Explorer?

3) Do you have JavaScript enabled in Internet Explorer?

Thanks for your quick reply Mike

  1. The version of Weather Watcher is 6.011

  2. I have no problems viewing any websites. I am using IE 7.0.5730

  3. JavaScript scipting is enabled in IE Tools.

I am running XP Pro SP3. Attched is the updated desktop image as well as a 2 shots of java settings

Thanks

Roy

Hi Mike

I loaded the Weather Watcher 5.6.45 to see if it would present a similiar. It looks OK as per screen shot. I also loaded the new version of Weather Watcher Live 6.0.16, however the screen is still skewed.

Rather than ask to to look further into my problem, I will use Weather Watcher and thank you for your help thus far, both are amazing.

Cheers

Since Weather Watcher Live (and Weather Watcher) use Internet Explorer to generate the interface, certain Internet Explorer settings could affect the interface layout. While I haven’t testing every possible setting, I don’t know of any settings that will cause Weather Watcher Live to appear exactly as-is in your screenshot above.

Resetting your Internet Explorer settings to the default settings might resolve the problem. However, that might be more trouble than it’s worth if you customized your settings.
