Was using 5.5e just fine at first. Had to format my hard drive for another reason. Now 5.5e and 5.6.6 crashes as soon as I move my cursor over where the info popups are.

It has to be something I’ve done, cause 5.5e worked before. By the way, 5.5e was working with FireFox on Windows 98se.

Used the new fix, just in case, but with no help.

HELP . …

As I recall, WW 5.5 required a VB or something DLL which I thought Mike posted or included in a version. Unfortunately I don’t remember it’s name, or a lot of other stuff lately.

[B)] thanks EdP for the help. wasnt what we thought it was. would you believe after I loaded up IE5.5 (which I don’t use) everything started working again. think it had to do with the html, etc. there’s dumb, dumber, then there’s me . . . unclassified!

thanks, again.

Hey, we love happy endings. Thanks for the update. [:)]

And don’t beat your self up, there’s no way you could know from that error that it was because IE 5.5 was missing. It would be nice if WW checked for IE version when being installed but systems with IE older than 5.5 are rare.

Before support for Win 98 completely dies this summer you should upgrade to IE 6.0. In fact you should apply all available Win 98 patches and fixes then do an image backup of the c: drive.
