I want to move ww to another computer. Can you give me the names and locations of the configuration files. One computer is win7, the other is xp. It took me a long time to setup ww just the way I like it and don’t want to do that again. Thank you very much.
You’ll want to replace the following files after installing Weather Watcher:
C:\Users[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\WeatherWatcherLive[b]CityCode.cmb[/b]
C:\Users[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\WeatherWatcherLive[b]FavoriteMaps.ww[/b]
C:\Users[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\WeatherWatcherLive[b]UserMaps.ww[/b]
Most of the settings are stored in the Windows registry. You can export them from your old computer and import them to your new computer.
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\VB and VBA Program Settings\Weather Watcher Live
