I was able to pull up a box much like the one that shows only current conditions, humidity, high and low temps, and current temps that I get when I mouse over the tray icon. This box, however, had a great deal more information, including the daily, weekly, monthly, and year-to-date rainfall. I’m sure it’s only a matter of my forgetting the steps to pull it up, since I did it routinely without actually thinking about what I had to do to accomplish it but a friend asked me how to do it and I haven’t been able to do it since. Could you please give me the steps for retrieving it? I’m using IE7 and Windows XP SP3 which I update religiously.

It sounds like you’re referring to WeatherBug’s historical data. Do the following:

1) Click the “NOW” button at the top of the main Weather Watcher Live window.

2) Click the blue “Historical Weather” link below the two listed weather icons.

That will direct you to the historical data page for your selected weather station at WeatherBug.com. From there, you can click the dropdown above the graph to choose the type of data to display.
