Temperature tray icon background always red (6.0.16)

In WWL 6.0.16, the background of my temperature tray icon is always red, no matter what I set it to. I am able to change to foreground color.

I have tried exiting and restarting after the auto-start of WWL as suggested in another post, but this doesn’t resolve the problem.

My recollection is that the colors were working correctly, but then got “stuck” on red when I had a severe weather alert (for which I had the background set to red).

Did you try unchecking the “Blend edges of ClearType text…” box in the “Tray Icon” --> “Colors” section of the Weather Watcher Live Options window? If that doesn’t help, please post a screenshot that section of the Weather Watcher Live Options window.

Yes, unchecking “Blend edges…” makes the problem go away.
