Task tray temp.

Mike, I have been using your WW software for a couple of weeks now and have fallen in love with it. I’m so impressed with it, that I will be donating to you.[:)]

I have just updated to 5.0.22g( not full install) and have it working fine, my question is regarding the decimal point display of temp. Will Temp. show in the task tray as I’m seeing only a whole number. IE(16 when actual temp is 16.6 deg C).
When I put cursor on the tray it show the correct temp in a balloon along with location and condition. Can we display the actual temp in tray. I have set the radio button in setup to show decimal temp.[?]

I’m using XP Home.

Dan

If it is supposed to show the decimal in the task tray. Or if you add it there. Could you make it optional for the icon itself, but in the hover it would be cool to have the decimal. Cuz, in order to see the decimal in the icon, you’d have to use a really small font.[:D]

dglesso – nybbles made a good point. The system tray does not allow for enough space to add the decimal point. However, if you hover your mouse over the tray icon, you’ll be able to see the temperature with the added decimal place.

Just occured to me, but I don’t remember when it stopped showing the decimal places… Just looked at weather.com, it doesn’t show it either…

I don’t think weather.com ever showed decimal places… not that I’ve seen anyhow.

oh I see, the decimal points are only on the Celsius for converting from Fahrenheit purposes. [8D]

Right, the decimal places only show for Celsius temperatures. The Farhenheit temperatures are pulled right from weather.com as is.
