Run-time error '91':

I get the following error occasionally when I start up:

Run-time error ‘91’:
Object variable or With block variable not set

This does not always happen, but enough to post this! I am running ww version 5.6.6 on a pc with windows xp, any help would be appreciated.

By “start up” I assume you mean when you boot your pc. Yes?

Do you have the WW General option to Pause 30 secs before retrieving forecasts set on?

when booting, yes.

I did not have that 30 second option checked. I will do that and see if that resolves the issue and let you know.

I still occasionally get the error message, not at every start up though. I am using the 30 pause and now have upgraded to version 5.6.7.

Any help would be appreciated.

Well good to see we made some progress but we need more information now.

What apps do you have autostarting when you boot?

Ok, under the start up folder I have hotsync manager for my palm pilot, ocraware, webshots and ww of course.

Delete WW from the Startup folder, it’s not needed there. Reboot, see if that doesn’t resolve the problem.

Also for a more complete list of what’s auto-starting click on Start>Run then into the Open box enter msconfig and press Enter.
