Refreshing on its own - rapidly

I have the latest version. Over the last few days, i have been getting N/A in the taskbar for a reading, and then when I refresh it, it works temporarily. In the last 2 hours, it has started to rapidly refresh, about 4-5 times a second. When this happens, the icons and all data on the current conditions page flash. Then when I go click on the “retrieve update” the screen changes to the following error message:

An error has occurred!

Try the following:

  1. Check that you are connected to the Internet.

  2. If you’re connected to the Internet, try updating this
    forecast again.

  3. Check that you have the latest version of Weather
Watcher. Either use the “Check for new program
updates” feature in the Weather Watcher system
tray drop-down menu -OR- check at
    SingersCreations.com.

  4. Check that this forecast exists at Weather.com.

  5. Visit the Singer’s Creations Forum for more suggestions.

And then I get a error 404 message that the page cannot be found. I have dsl, and I know that it has nothing to do with a firewall, and nothing to do with my computer. I am running this on both of my computers and they were both running great until the last few days. If you know the solution, please respond.

Something like that happens to me to. It tries to open my standard modem connection, even though I am connected to DSL. Then I hear the series of clicking noises that sound like a new page opening in IE. My processor usage jumps to about 70%. Once I kill the Ww.exe process with the Task Manager, the sound quits. Naturally, WW is thus unusable. [xx(]
