When I check “About” it says expires 12/5/10 even though a Lifetime license was paid for. Also have not been able to update from your box. Norton flags and removes the update.
That expiration issue is a known bug in older versions of Weather Watcher Live. I believe it has been fixed and is working properly in Weather Watcher Live 6.1.28 (and higher). Which version of Weather Watcher Live are you currently using?
That’s an issue on Norton’s end. I did notify them of the problem, and they did resolve it by updating their virus database. It probably will take a day or so before your Norton installation receives that update. As a workaround, you’ll have to temporarily disable Norton and then download the Weather Watcher Live installer.
I’m on 7.0.12 ,since yesterday it now says never expires
I closed Norton & was able to update to 7.0.22, Thanks again
If you run into a situation like this again, just right-click the system tray icon and click on “Disable Antivirus Auto-Protect”, download whatever program was giving you fits and then re-enable it. That will save unloading and re-loading it.
