# icon won't stay on taskbar

I can’t figure out how to show the temperature on the taskbar, no matter how I set the option. I want to know the temperature all day. Also, weather alerts are not showing on the taskbar, even though options has preset colors.

While running, Weather Watcher will show the current temperature in the system tray (or “Notification area” as Windows calls it). If the icon is not shown there, Windows might be hiding it.

You can choose which icons to display if you right click the taskbar and choose “Taskbar settings”. Then, scroll down and click “Select which icons appear on the taskbar”.
