how to save settings and update?

two questions again

  1. how its possible to save my WW settings in case of something happens?

  2. How to update? Now there is a f-Version, I just have to install over the existing files? Or…
    What about the WW settings in this case?

  1. The settings are saved in the following registry key:
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\VB and VBA Program Settings\Weather Watcher

  2. Yes, just run the new install over top of your existing install. All of your exisiting settings will be compatible with future Weather Watcher releases.

Is this only for the new WW f-Version from yesterday or also for previous versions?

I think WW should be closed while exporting settings from registry or upgrading to new version. Im right or it doesnt matter?

Yes – close Weather Watcher before exporting/importing that registry data.
